Robert Henry "Shortie" Vogel Obituary
Robert Henry “Shortie” Vogel, 72, husband of Connie Tingle Vogel, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Robert and Lucy Boggs Vogel.
A retired driver with Woodford Feed in Versailles, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and time with his family. He was of the Catholic faith and served in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by his children, Robert Vogel, Jr, Melissa (Tyree Newsan) Warren and Patsy (Antonio Torres) Vogel; siblings, Harry Vogel, Virginia Murphy and Rose Woolums; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Allen Vogel; brother, Bernard Allen “Butch” Vogel.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Thursday.
