Sharon L. (Bixler) Bracale, 74, of Palmyra passed away peacefully Sunday, April 27, 2025 in her home, with her loving husband by her side.

Born November 10, 1950 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Bixler, Sr. and Josephine (Morrison) Clough and was also preceded in death by her two brothers Wilbur Bixler, Jr. and Charles Bixler.

Sharon was a graduate of ELCO High School Class of 1969.  She was a beautician for many years before retiring from the Hershey Company.  She was a hunter who enjoyed archery season, but most of all watching nature and loved being outdoors.  Sharon enjoyed sewing and crafting.  She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and NASCAR fan and was a huge Jeff Gordon fan back in the day.  Some of her fondest memories were having backyard picnics and pool parties with family and friends.  She always looked forward to weekends at the beach with her husband Jim. 

She was the wife of James A. Bracale with whom she would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on May 12. 

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, May 2, 2025 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon.  Private interment in Hershey Cemetery.
