O’Connell, Mary Georgina (nee Vella).

Passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 87 years.  Beloved wife of the late Lionel O’Connell (2009).  Loving mother of Paula (Cliff), Jennifer (George), Louise, John (Naomi), Larry (Shannon) and Mark (Jacy). Survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

Mary retired from the University of Guelph after working for many years in food services.  She loved travelling throughout the world.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice Street, Guelph on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
