Milton H. “Bubbie” Linton, 76, of Reading, passed April 26th in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Debra A. (Kalnoski) Linton.

Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert M. and Amanda (Dawson) Linton.

Milton served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, serving on the USS Corry, Manly and Cone.

He worked for over 35 years at the former Willow Grove Naval Air Station as the Assistant Public Works Officer until its closing in 2011.

Bubbie’s lifelong love of music made an impact on everyone around him. He especially loved Cajun and country music.

Bubbie enjoyed traveling with his wife, home remodeling and spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dog Gracie.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; daughter, Melissa (Linton) Nye, wife of Robert R. Nye; daughter, Amy (Linton) Wahl, wife of Robert Wahl; daughter, Jennifer (Linton) Myers; son, Michael Linton, husband of Lori (Singerman) Linton. There are also eleven grandchildren; Nolan, Gavin, Ethan and Declan Nye, Aidan and Hailey Wahl, Leo and Lucy Myers, Caleb, Connor and Hannah Linton. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda (Linton) Noll.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 3rd at 11 AM in St. Catherine of Siena RCC. A viewing will be held at Henninger Funeral Home, 229 N. 5th St., Reading on Saturday from 8 to 10 AM. Eulogies and Musical selections will begin at 9:30 at the funeral home. Procession to Mass will depart promptly following Eulogies and Music.

Interment and Military Honors will follow Mass in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
