On Sunday, April 27, 2025 Cindy Kay Phillips was greeted in Heaven by her Savior and her husband.

She was born on January 6, 1961 to Darrell John Flesher and Shirley Flesher of Waverly, WV. She will be missed deeply by her loving daughters, and sons-in-law, and grandchildren, Joy Faith Hay, Tristen James Hay, Kase Matthew Hay; step grandchild, Kaleb James Hay; daughter, Emily Hope Hamilton (David Lee Hamilton, Jr.); her mother, Shirley Flesher; her sisters, Penny (Nick) Biddle, Vicky (Steve) Eddy, Michele (Ken) Fritz, all of Waverly, WV; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Randy (Bonnie) Phillips of Rockport, Sherri (Mike) Benson, and Sonja (William Mark) Casto, both of Ripley, WV; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cindy loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, taking them camping, and teaching them how to sew, and spending time with her family.

Cindy loved going to church. She had been a bank teller for Community Bank.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Phillips; father, Darrell Flesher; father-in-law, Averal Phillips; mother-in-law, Jessie Phillips; grandparents, Clarence and Helen Wingrove, Kenner and Lucille Flesher; a brother-in-law, Fred McClung; an infant nephew, Brian Phillips; and an infant niece, Andrea Benson.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, time of service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Waverly, WV.
