Died peacefully at Innisfree House on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 84.

Beloved wife of the late Wieslaw (Wesley). Loving mother of Zbyszek (Marzena), Ted (Jadwiga) and Lucy Paul (Larry). Loving "Babcia" to Justine (Dave), Sebastian, Natalie, Nathan and Noah. Dear sister of Piotr (Alicja) and Maria Janocha. Daughter of the late Stefania and Stanislaw Wczesniak.

Leokadia was born on December 10, 1940 in Brzescie, Poland. On her 40th birthday, she immigrated to Canada to make a better life for her family, and Kitchener became her new home. She attended Sacred Heart Church through which she became an active member of the Polish community. Leokadia loved her tomato gardens and travelling to the tropics with her husband.

Family and friends of Leokadia will be received from 6-8 p.m on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Rosary 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 66 Shanley Street, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place immediately after the ceremony, at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Avenue East, Waterloo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leokadia's name to Lisaard and Innisfree Hospice (cards available at the funeral home).
