Joseph R. MacDonald Obituary

Joseph R. MacDonald, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday, April 26th, at the age of 70.  Joseph was born in Everett in 1954, the son of George and Pauline MacDonald.  He was raised and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1972. After high school, Joseph became a mechanic, and performed auto repair through out his life.  He enjoyed boating, fishing and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Rose, his children, Michele Summa and her husband Steven of Lynn, Shawna MacDonald of Malden, and Meaghan Caponigro and her husband Michael of Lynn and his grandchildren, McKayla, Siena-Rose, Joseph and Olivia. He is also survived by his siblings, George MacDonald and his wife Queeny of Fl, Joyce Stetson and her husband Ken of CT, Janet MacDonald of Billerica, Dottie O’Rourke and her husband Jimmy of Billerica,  Kenny MacDonald and his wife Deb of NH, Billy MacDonald and his wife Nancy of Carver, Michael MacDonald and his wife Tina of NH and Steven MacDonald and his wife Mary of Amesbury, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem ST, Malden on Friday, May 2 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, Malden, at 10 AM.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 1st, from 4 – 8PM.
