Harold Alfred Slader 85, of Glocester Rhode Island passed away peacefully on April 26,2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Barbara Elizabeth (Ashcroft) Slader.

Harold was born in 1940 in Smithfield Rhode Island and was a devoted husband, father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He worked in the construction field for fifty years at E&E Builders and most recently Kilduff Brothers Builders in North Scituate RI. Harold enjoyed watching Judge Judy, reading playing cards and spending time with his family and his cat’s Charlie and Felicia.

He was the father of William (Linda), Lisa Porcaro (David), Matthew (Gwendolyn), Mark and Judy. His grandchildren Neil (Margaret), Nicole, Nathan (Abigail), Jenna, Jeanette, Matthew, and Michael and his great grandchild Nolan. His siblings Mildred (Smith) deceased, Helen (Crawley) deceased, Shirley (Goulet-Nicholson), Everett, Ernest, Robert, Edward, and Theresa (Choquette).

Harolds family would like to thank the hospice nurses Jen, Cathy, Caitlyn, Rachael, Lisa and the social workers Laura and Olivia.

A Memorial service for Harold will be announced on a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to an animal shelter in Harold's name.
