Marchand, Francis Leo
94 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Beloved husband of Claire (nee Lefaive) for 72 years. Loving father of Paul (Bonnie) Marchand, Donald (Debbie) Marchand, late Elaine Paulin, Doreen (Mark) Thibeault, and Lorraine (Roland) Provost. Cherished pepe of Jeff (Isabelle) Marchand, Mike (Jennifer) Marchand; Ryan Marchand, Jordan (Rae-Anne) Marchand, Jeremy (Amy) Marchand; Derrick (Danielle) Thibeault, Stephen (Dana) Thibeault, Stephanie Thibeault (Bill), Kevin (Micheline) Thibeault; Roland Provost, Kyla Provost (Frank), Corey (Desiree) Provost, and 20 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Marie and Alphonse Marchand and siblings; Margaret, Bernadette, Pauline, Norman, Lena, and Charlie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Francis enjoyed fishing, frogging, camping and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events and various other activities. He will sadly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice appreciated.
