Frances Maria Calautti, former longstanding resident of Paramus, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, at the age of 97, surrounded by her family. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Carlo Calautti. Frances is survived by her devoted children, Antoinette Iommetti and her husband Marino, and Frank Calautti and his wife Rosemarie, as well as her treasured granddaughter, Carla Iommetti.

Born in Italy, Frances journeyed to the United States at the age of nine, bringing with her the traditions, values, and warmth of her homeland. She embraced life with grace and dedication, as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, a loyal friend, and a hardworking professional. For over 20 years, she served as an Administrative Assistant at General Motors, where her strength and work ethic left a lasting impression.

Frances was known for her love of cooking, her passion for gardening, and her joy in the simple rituals of everyday life—especially those that reminded her of her roots. Whether she was tending to her garden of tomatoes and hot peppers or preparing a meal for loved ones, she brought care and love to everything she did.

In her later years, Frances found peace and happiness in retirement in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where she built new friendships and enjoyed the warmth of the sun and the people around her. Her kindness, her radiant smile, and her quiet resilience will be remembered always.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 300 Elm Street, Oradell, NJ. She will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ.

In honor of her memory, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church in Oradell, NJ, or to Hospice by the Sea (Trustbridge.com) in Boca Raton, FL, in lieu of flowers.
