Jamie Lee Arnett

Age 55, of Owosso, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Nelson-House Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Strawser will officiate the service. The family invites friends to join them at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 PM until the time of the service.

Jamie was born on January 11, 1970, in Owosso, the son of David and Dianna (Dean) Arnett.

He attended Corunna High School.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Jamie found joy in riding his cherished Harley with his sons-in-law, snowmobiling, and gathering with friends at the shop. He especially loved camping with his grandchildren, sharing laughter and creating memories. Whether it was attending their sporting events or cheering them on from the sidelines, Jamie was their biggest supporter and always made time for family.

Known for his generosity, Jamie was the first to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, as long as his lawn was mowed, the weeds were whacked, and the bushes trimmed. His devotion extended to his daughters; he took great pride in caring for their vehicles and homes, ensuring they were well taken care of.

On Saturday nights, you could find him at the racetrack, passionately cheering for his favorite drivers alongside his beloved wife and children. Jamie cherished what it meant to be a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. While he may have had the tough exterior of a gentle giant, those who knew him understood that he wore his heart on his sleeve.

He married his forever best friend, Debbie Hill, on September 17, 1994. Together, they shared over 30 beautiful years filled with love and companionship.

Jamie worked at NAPA for 15 years and was well-respected by his colleagues and customers alike.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Arnett; daughters, Kailee (Branden Stockford), Miranda (Kyle) Chadwell, and Mikayla Arnett; grandchildren, Brayden, Rilynn, Natalie, Parker, and Briggs; his mother, Dianna Arnett; siblings, David (Rachel) Arnett and Michelle (Shawn) Palmer; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, David Arnett, and his nephew, Jordan Arnett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
