EDGCOMBE, Ms. Laura-age 50, of Burton, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at LaVigne Home. for Compassionate Care. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Laura's life will be held May 31, 2025 at United in Christ UMC with visitation at 11:00am and the service to follow at 12:00noon.

Laura was born April 15, 1975 in Fort Knox, KY. She is the daughter of Gary and Marsha (Briggs) Galbraith. She graduated from Genesee High School in 1993, where she loved playing basketball and running track and cross country. She married Brad Edgcombe in 1997. She cherished spending time with her five children and two granddaughters.

Surviving are children, Layna Vankirk (Shaun), Grant Edgcombe (Lexi), Carter Edgcombe (Clara), Liam Colunga and Logan Colunga. She is also survived by her mother, Marsha Galbraith; sisters, Christen Galbraith and Amanda Galbraith; brother, Timothy Galbraith; special friend, Daniel Lester. She has two granddaughters, Elia Vankirk and Olive Edgcombe.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Silas Vankirk; sister, Lisa Bridenbaker and father, Gary E. Galbraith.
