CARMO, BRIAN A., 61, of West Warwick, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 20 years to Josée Beauregard.
Born in Providence, he was a loving son of Theresa Lopes Harris and the late Charles Carmo; step son of the late Asa R. Harris Jr.
After spending his childhood growing up in Germany and across the United States, Brian returned home to Rhode Island when he was a young man. Brian then graduated from the former St. Dunstan High School, and then became a Firefighter for many years before changing career paths and becoming a carpenter mostly working on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. Most recently Brian worked in General Maintenance for RI Container Products Inc. Always a hard worker, when Brian wasn’t working he enjoyed spending weekends with his Scouting family, and was always there cheering at every basketball and softball game.
Besides his dear wife Josée, Brian is survived by his children Ethan Beauregard Carmo, Gabrielle Beauregard Carmo, Brianna Carmo, and the late Mason DeAngelus. He was the brother of Kim Harris and Tracie Harris. Brian is also survived by a granddaughter, Brooklyn, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry. Burial and committal prayers to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry.
