Elwood Seldon Brown Obituary
Elwood Seldon Brown, age 85 of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at his residence. Born on July 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Leon Jasper Brown and the late Anna Lou Waters Brown. In addition to his parents, Elwood is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Brown, a son, Elwood Scott Brown. and a brother Kenneth Brown.
A country boy at heart, Elwood enjoyed being outdoors. His outdoor activities including taking care of his chickens and spending time with his dogs. Elwood also enjoyed fishing, building things, and just tinkering and fixing things.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Rhonda Brown of Roanoke, Alabama; grandchildren, Ashley Brown and Jamie Scott Brown; and three great-grandsons, Oakley, Gavin, and Cody. Also surviving are his brother, Dennis Brown and nephews, Jeffery (Heather) Brown and Dennis Brown, Jr..
In keeping with Mr. Brown's wishes, he will be cremated.
