Mr. William “ Willie’ Byrd, 62, of Dunn, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

"Willie" leaves to cherish his memories to his wife; Pamela Lynn of Raleigh, NC; children, Renee Byrd, Letitia Williams both of Dunn, NC, William C Byrd II  of Washington State, William J.Byrd III of Raleigh, NC; stepchildren, Tenisha Lynn and Shaqueema Lynn both of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren; brothers, Xavier "Larry" Rakin of Tennessee, Darius Harris and Derrian Harris both of Washington, DC; aunts, Elder Joyce Ray of Coats, NC and Shelia Parker of Spring Lake, NC; uncle, Alexander "June" Ray of Linden, NC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 3,2025 at 12:00 p.m., Gazing Mountain Church,110 Old Post Road, Erwin, NC, 28339.
