Janice A. Springer, 84, of Foosland passed away on Saturday April 26, 2025 at Goldwater Care in Gibson City. A Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m-1:00 p.m. on Friday May 9, 2025 at Rosenbaum Funeral Home in Gibson City. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Willowbrook Cemetery in Fisher. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fisher High School Arts program.
Janice was born on February 19, 1941 in Cicero, Illinois a daughter of Charles and Irene Novak Frymark. She married Gordon Dean Springer on November 13, 1959 in Urbana. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1993.
Janice is survived by her daughter Michelle (Brett) Doney of Champaign, her grandson Christopher Doney of Nampa, ID, her three sisters Maryann (Dana) Burnett of Nixa, MO, Monica Grube of Nixa, MO, Regina (Keith) Merideth of Nixa, MO, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters Charlene Edwards, Christine (Don) Parker, and Penelope Leisure.
Janice expressed her creativity while crafting things for family and friends. She also enjoyed painting, and taking pictures of her family to treasure forever. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
