Cynthia "Cindy" Hogeland Glass Obituary

Cynthia “Cindy” Hogeland Glass, beloved daughter of the late Richard “Buddy” Hogeland and the late Joe Anne Mathis, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Born on December 27, 1962, Cindy lived a life full of love, kindness, and service to her family and her community.

Known affectionately by all who loved her as "Hunnie," Cindy touched countless lives with her warm heart and generous spirit. She was a proud wife to her beloved husband, Jim Glass, and a devoted mother to four children: Brad McIntosh Jr (Jennifer), Meagann McIntosh (Cory), Tyler McIntosh (Amber), Kristen Andler (Chad), Jamie Glass and Sabrina Glass. Her greatest joy was found in her grandchildren: Brady, Olivia, Jolie’, Bowen, Myles, Tate, and Maddox, each of whom brought endless pride and happiness into her life.

Cindy was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, offering them the same unconditional love, encouragement, and warmth that she so freely gave to her own children and grandchildren.

For over 30 years, Cindy served as the town florist in Chattahoochee, bringing beauty and comfort to her community through her flowers and her friendship. Her love for Chattahoochee and its people was evident in everything she did. Whether it was organizing events for the city's upcoming festivities, arranging a bouquet for a special occasion, or offering a listening ear to someone in need, Cindy’s kindness bloomed as brightly as the flowers she so lovingly arranged.

While she was widely known for her talent and dedication as a florist, Cindy’s most cherished roles were as a wife, mother, and "Hunnie" to her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and her legacy of love, laughter, compassion and determined spirit will live on in all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Jim, her children and grandchildren, and all who loved her.

A time of visitation and reflection for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Central Time in the McAlpin Funeral Home Chapel. Services and interment will be private on a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of McAlpin Funeral Home in Sneads, FL and Crawford & Moultry Funeral Home in Chattahoochee, FL.
