Sarah M. Hartman, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 26, 2025.  She was born on July 11, 1952, in Beech Grove, IN to the late Raymond Fredrick Hartman and Shirley Ann (Ketcham) Hartman.

Sarah is survived by her siblings, Elise Ann Garza, Marion “Kay” Patterson, Kurt Karl Hartman, Georgia Lynne Hartman and Amy Jo Mann; cousins, several beloved nieces and nephews; and great niece and nephew.

Sarah was a retired customer service representative of AT&T.  Sarah was an avid reader of many genres.  She enjoyed exploring British history and murder mysteries. Sarah loved to bake and share her cookies with family and friends. Her kindness and warmth will always be remembered by those who received her treats.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 2:00 pm until the time of memorial at 4:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis Humane Society or the Audubon Society.
