Clare Smigiel passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and unconditional love.

Clare was the devoted wife of Jerry for 61 wonderful years, and took great care of him when he became ill. Mother of 7 children, she was also the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.

One of 7 children herself, Clare embraced a caregiving role early in life, helping raise her younger sisters while her mother endured a long illness. Her early compassion and strength shaped a life centered on nurturing others and putting family first.

Clare was also a woman of deep and abiding faith. She was a devoted member of St. Peter the Apostle Church for many years. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the values she held dear— love, kindness, and faith in God.

Clare will be remembered for her gentle heart and her unwavering strength. Her family is at peace knowing she is joined in heaven with her husband, daughter Dawn, and 2 precious angel babies. Clare’s loving spirit will live on in her family and all who were blessed to know her.
