Peacefully passed away at his home in Acton, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 94. Beloved husband to the late Jantje (2023) for 70 years. Loving father of his daughter Tineke Douglas (Les) and son Arie Vryenhoek (Marsha). Caring Opa to Michael Vryenhoek, Yvonne Douglas and the late Allen Vryenhoek, as well as his great-grandchildren.

He met Jantje and they were married four years later on February 25,1953. Their daughter Tineke was born on April 10,1955 and son Arie on April 27, 1957. The family of 4 immigrated to Canada, more precisely a little town called Acton on December 2, 1965, were he lived happily with his wife and family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and caregivers for their continuous loving care of Kors.

Friends and family will be received at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Halton Hills, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. A funeral will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. in chapel. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
