Steve Westmorland, 72, passed away surrounded by family and entered into Eternal Life Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Steve was born and raised in Louisville to the late Joseph and Rosie Westmorland, and was a proud citizen of Portland. He was an avid University of Louisville fan and cherished most time spent with his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Westmorland; children, Amy, Tina (Brittany), Marty (Sarah), Angel (Marvin), Samantha (Cinnamon), Stephanie (Jeremy); grandchildren, Joshua, Jerry, Jaden, Jalynn, Joey, Jace, Baylei, and Journey; great grandchildren, Heaven and Athena; siblings, Leonard (Linda) and Lenora (Ray); and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Roseanna and brother, Jackie.

Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Legacy Funeral Center – Schoppenhorst, 1832 W Market Street. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation, 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the funeral home. The family will honor Steve’s wish for cremation following services.

The family requests donations take the form of payment to the funeral home to cover final expenses.
