Ryan Ronald Jutting passed away on April 27, 2025 in Hayti, SD.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Hayti Lutheran Church in Hayti. Rev. Randy Eisenbeisz will officiate. 

Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and prior to services at the church on Thursday.

He was born in Watertown, SD on February 22, 1978 to Ronald Jutting and Donna (Krause) Jutting. He attended all of his schooling at Hamlin High School in Hayti, SD. He graduated in 1996. Throughout the years he worked at the Hamlin County Farmer’s Coop in Hayti, SD, WW Tire company in Bryant SD, and finally he owned and operated the Grocery store in Hayti named “Jutting’s Grocery.”

He was married to Daisy (Karel) Jutting for 22 years. They had three children, Riley, Carter and Madyson. Ryan loved hunting and fishing. He always made people laugh including himself. Ryan loved music and was a member of the Hayti Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his former wife, Daisy Jutting of Hayti, SD; his children Riley, Carter, and Madyson Jutting of Hayti, SD; his father, Ronald Jutting of Watertown SD; his mother, Donna Krause of Hayti, SD; his step-mother Cathy (Geier) Jutting of Watertown; his sister Lisa (Jutting) Pedersen of Hayti, SD; and his nephews, Cole and Carson Pedersen of Hayti, SD.

Honorary pallbearers are his children Riley, Carter, and Madyson Jutting along with his nephews Cole and Carson Pedersen.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Goebel, Kelly Olsen, Corey Shaefer, Tim Scotting, Ben Stormo, Travis Wadsworth.
