Milton T. Risley, Jr., of Lindenwold, NJ, passed peacefully the early morning of April, 27th, at the age of 79. He was surrounded by the love of his children, Robin, Stephen, and Christine, and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Owen, and Mia. Guiding him to the other side were his previously departed wife, Kathleen and son, Richard.
Milton was born in Camden, NJ, and later moved to the Osage section of Voorhees, NJ. There, he spent his formative years, made many lifelong friends, and met his wife, Kathleen, from Gibbsboro. After high school, Milton joined the US Army and was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma, where he and Kathleen started a family. Milton and Kathleen eventually returned to Gibbsboro, where they raised their four children.
Milton loved Lionel trains, Tastykake pies, watching football, especially the Miami Dolphins and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, WWE wrestling, long car rides with Kathleen, and playing pinochle with Kathleen and their friends. He especially loved his children, and most of all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Robin (Gary), Stephen, and Christine, his grandchildren, Nicholas (Shelby), Owen, and Mia, his sister, Linda, and her family, his sister-in-law, Moya, and her family, his sister-in-law, Renee (James), and her family, the family of his late brother-in-law, Richard, and his many friends.
