Soloman Speight Jr 80 passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born January 24, 1945 in Wilson N.C. He was a graduate of Frink High School. He worked in Asphalt most of his life. Displaying a knack for solving problems. Solomon truely lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He is survived by his partner Linda Spearman. His daughter Felicia Wooten (Tim) Step daughter Tonya Harrison. Grandchildren: Ramel Fisher, Imani Fisher, Frankie Harrison. Great grandchild Royal Fisher. Brothers Merthis Wooten, Lindell Wooten and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends and others who lives he has touched. Visitation will be Tuesday April 29, 2025 from 11-12 followed by funeral at New Birth Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
