Beloved wife of 71 years to Alphonse Kopec; loving mother of Lynn (William) Barnes, Carl (Leslie) Kopec, Laureen Kopec, and Karen Patterson (Steve Saporito); cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Elizabeth (Brownie) Ptak, Lucille (Tom) Georger, late Richard (Brenda) Paryz, late Henry Paryz, and late Leonard (Geraldine) Paryz; dearest sister-in-law of Daniel (Geri) Kopec; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Kopec was a proud graduate of Immaculata Academy Class of 1953, a member of the Altar & Rosary Society at St. Barbara's and Queen of Angels, loved the outdoors, and most importantly cherished the time spent with her family. There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10AM at Queen of Angels Church, Warsaw St., & Electric Ave., Lackawanna.
