PFLUMM - Susan E., a lifelong resident of Northport, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 82. She was the beloved partner of Phil Carolan; and a loving mother to James Pflumm and his wife, Pamela, and the late Richard Pflumm. Susan was a cherished grandmother to Amanda Mauro and her husband, Jeffrey, Emily Pflumm, and Kimberly Pflumm; and a devoted great-grandmother to Finn, Luca, and Archie. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Ella Bell. Susan is also survived by her brother James Bell and his wife Anita, her nephew Josh Bell and his wife Denise and her grandnieces Zoey and Penny. Susan was known for her warm spirit and unwavering compassion. She found strength and fellowship with her many friends, including Bill W. for 44 years, and she took great joy in being a positive influence in the lives of those on their own journeys. Her kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor touched many, and she will be deeply missed. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Nolan Funeral Home in Northport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's name to the A.S.P.C.A. , honoring her lifelong love for animals.
