Michele Simone Rimanelli Obituary

Mr. Michele Rimanelli, age 58, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away suddenly, but without pain on the evening of 15 March 2019 in the comfort of the arms of his beloved wife, Lao. He is survived by his loving wife and companion of over 23 years, Laodice Rimanelli- Nascimento; her son Fabrizio Fabre; his brother Marco Rimanelli and nephew Gian Luca; his loving step-Father Kenneth S. Davies; by his half-brother David Rimanelli and his half-sister Tiziana Ciotti; his cousins Guido and Antonia Antolini, and Bianca-Maria Chiurazzi; by his Aunt Valeria Chiurazzi-Sigillo and by many cousins and their families. Michele is preceded in death by his mother, Liliana Chiurazzi-Davies and by his father, Giose Rimanelli. Michele was born in Roma, Italy on 28 April 1960 to Giose Rimanelli and Liliana Chiurazzi. He was raised in New York City with his parents and brother, Marco, from 1960 – 1964, after which he returned to Rome to live. He attended “Contardo Ferrini” Elementary School, and “Cristo Re” Private Jesuit School for middle school and high school, where he excelled in volleyball. Michele received a B.A. degree in Literature from State University in Albany, New York. He then obtained a M.S. degree in Cinema from the Parsons School of Arts & Drama. His great love for cinema and art brought joy to his life and to those with whom he could share this passion. Michele became a very successful realtor for REMAX in Boston, MA and he was blessed to share this wonderful career with his wife, Lao. Michele was always respected for his understanding of business. His various investments and business ventures have provided well for his family for decades. Michele was a loving husband to his wife, Lao, for over 23 years whom he married in Boston. They enjoyed working together in real estate, traveling throughout Europe, enjoying jazz music, cooking and art. He was a quiet, loving man to all who knew him and he frequently reached out to family regardless of the distance, making great effort to support those he loved. His encouragement, confidence and strength was a blessing to all who knew him, most especially his family. Certainly his greatest achievement in life was the love and devotion he shared with his family. A small Catholic funeral service is schedule for Mr. Michele Rimanelli with casket viewing on Friday 29 March 2019 from 10:00am – 11:00am at Southern Cremations & Funerals, 1861 Dallas Highway SW in Marietta, Georgia, 30064 ( 770-919-7100),(www.SouthernCremations.com).
