Karen Phillips Thomas, 63, resident of Waterloo, wife of Frank Thomas passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at her home. Born May 24, 1961, in Honea Path SC, she was the daughter of the late L. Clyde and Ruby Rogers Phillips.
A graduate of Belton Honea Path High School, Karen retired from Monsanto after 35 years of service. Karen was a member of Bethlehem Union Church of Waterloo.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are daughter April T. Mauldin (Charles); son Bud Thomas (Jessi); her grandchildren Allie Thomas, Caroline Smith, Claire and Charlie Mauldin, all of Greenwood. She is also survived by her sister Kathy Dibona (Vince) of Greenwood, her brother Donnie Phillips (Louise) of Honea Path and lifelong friend Tammy Turner Gibson.
Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Blyth Funeral Home with the Rev. John Uldrick and Mark Strickland officiating.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
