Mulville: Carolyn (nee Caiger)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Mae Mulville (nee Caiger), peacefully surrounded by her family on April 26, 2025, at the Kingston Health Science Centre, in her 75th year. Throughout the last year and a half, Carolyn showed incredible courage and unwavering hope, as she relentlessly battled Leukemia and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, in an effort to remain with her family as long as she could.
Carolyn was born on November 24, 1950 in Brockville, Ontario and grew up in Rockport. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her parents, Fred and Kathleen Caiger.
Beloved wife and soulmate of Jim Mulville of Westport for 52 years. Loving mother of Anita Fielding (Mike Heagle), Rob Mulville (Melissa Balson) and Brian Mulville. Cherished Gramma to Emily (Whaylon Boisclair), Kaleb, Haley, Aidan, Natalie and Evan. “Bonus Gramma” to Aubrey. Dear sister to Chuck Caiger (Barbara), Morris Caiger (Maureen), Rosemary Clutton (late Bob), and Marjorie Caiger. Adored sister-in-law, aunt and cousin; sadly missed by countless friends.
Carolyn will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, whose family meant the world to her. She found the greatest joy in life’s simple pleasures; the laughs shared at family gatherings, scenic country drives, tending to her gardens, watching cooking shows, and cheering on her children, and later on grandchildren, as they participated in the many sports they loved. A special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at KGH and KHSC, Perth and Smiths Fall District Hospital and Ottawa General Hospital, for their compassionate care and treatment. We are extremely grateful. Carolyn truly touched the lives of everyone that knew her.
Always in our memories; forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 10 from 1pm-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 542, 10099 Cty Rd 10, Westport, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Lyons Funeral Home, Westport, Ontario
