Hade "Bobby" Nobles Jr. Obituary

Hade Robert Nobles Obituary

Hade Robert Nobles Jr. (Bobby) passed away on April 26, 2025 in Marietta,GA. Born on March 27, 1934, in Danville, Georgia he was the son of Hade and Eula Belle Nobles. In 1951, at the age of 17, he married the love of his life, Marjorie and raised a son, Steve, and a daughter, Melinda.

Bobby enjoyed a long working career for 35 years at General Steel, but that wasn’t what defined him. Bobby had a kind heart, was always in a good mood, and never met a stranger. He loved large gatherings and being around family and friends especially during Christmas Eve, Christmas and the yearly Labor Day weekend barbecue. He was deeply devoted to his  Baptist faith and his church.

He was also one of the biggest Braves fans you would ever meet. He would watch almost every game including the late ones. He enjoyed a trip to Braves spring training 2 years ago and a game at Truist Park. When it wasn’t baseball season, he enjoyed all of his crime shows and no one liked the Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy more. They were a part of his daily routine.

He cherished his time with Melinda and Steve, his son-in-law Rich, his great grand-dog and companion Batman, his brother and sister, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren excel in sports, school plays, orchestra, chorus, college and flourish in their careers. Bobby was a loving husband, proud father, doting grandfather and great-grandfather, loyal brother and true friend to all.

Bobby is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie, and 5 of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son Steve Nobles (Sherrill), Marietta, GA and his daughter Melinda Benson (Richard), Marietta, GA. He is also survived by his Grandchildren: Michelle Clay (Chris), Stefanie Reyes, Brandy Hall (David), Brandon Benson, Alexander Benson and Peyton Benson and Great-grandchildren Elisheva Montunnas and Annabel Clay. He is also survived by his sister Linda Nobles and his brother David (Karen) along with many nieces and nephews.
