She is survived by a son, Timothy Scott Painter of Harrisonburg; and sister, Linda Long Rhodes and husband, Marvin “Bud” Rhodes of Williamsburg.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11a.m., May 10, 2025, at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Harrisonburg, with Senior Pastor Adam Blagg officiating.
