Lois Anita Lewis Obituary
Lois Anita Lewis, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. Born in Presque Isle, Maine, to Frank and Anita Lyons, she spent her formative years in Bangor, Maine, where she cultivated a deep love for her family and community.
Lois was married to her cherished husband, Leslie George Lewis, who preceded her in death. Their love story was a testament to enduring companionship and mutual devotion. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering support that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Lois possessed a vibrant spirit, marked by her fun-loving nature, agreeable disposition, and remarkable flexibility. She was intelligent, curious, and deeply interested in the lives of her loved ones. Her passions included cooking, baking, and spending time with children, filling her home with the aroma of delicious treats and the sounds of laughter.
She is survived by her son, Tony Lewis and his wife Pam Lewis; her son, Michael Lewis and his wife Kim Lewis; and her daughter, Leslie Najm and her husband Philippe Najm. Lois's enduring love extended to her grandchildren, Maria Gobea, John Najm, Elize Sfeir, David Najm, Jennifer Mullen, Brandon Starks, Chris Lewis, Cara Hassnain, Michael Lewis II, Joseph Lewis, Rebecca Burk, Katie Villareal, and Alex Bishop, and 19 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way, who will deeply miss their loving grandmother. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen Marie Starks.
Lois's warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.
