Passed away peacefully at Owen Sound Gardens Retirement Residence on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Born in Chester, England, on Sunday, November 2, 1930, Beryl Chidlow (née Willetts), was in her 95th year.

Beloved wife and best friend of the late Don Chidlow. Devoted mum of Sue Corbett (Dave) and Steve Chidlow (Shelley). Cherished grandma of Chris, Jen, Stephanie, Mark, and great-grandma of Talon, Kai, Samantha, Aiden and Maddie.

Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Jessie Willetts.

Beryl was a devoted wife, mum, and grandma, who will be sorely missed. After Don’s passing on March 28, 2024, Beryl moved into the Owen Sound Gardens where she enjoyed meeting new friends, singing along was her thing. Sometimes it was a little overwhelming, not having Don, her loving husband of 73 years, by her side.

Special thanks for all the wonderful staff and residents at “The Garden’s”, you have all been so kind and caring towards mum and our family. It means a lot to each and every one of us!

In keeping with Beryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
