Cathern Jean Patrick of West Liberty, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her residence, at the age of 97 years, 1 month, & 29 days.  She was born Saturday, February 25, 1928, in West Liberty, KY, daughter of John & Bessie Haney Davis.

Jean was united in marriage to Charlie Patrick on February 7, 1948.  This union was blessed with two daughters, Linda & Teresa.  She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family.  She was a Christian, a member of Lick Fork Pentecostal Church, and also attended Assembly of Faith Church.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Bessie Haney Davis; her husband, Charlie Patrick; her step-father, John Eldridge; one brother, Drexel Davis; and five sisters, Helen Clevenger, Rella Whitt, Jewell Davis, Betty Adams, and Lois Moreland.

Jean is survived by her two daughters, Linda Adkins (Marvin) and Teresa Benton (Chuck Frederick) all of West Liberty, KY; three grandchildren, Rhonda Sturgill (Scott), Jerry Adkins (Jessica), and Jessica Wright (Reuben); five great grandchildren, Noah Sturgill, Nelson Sturgill, Dylan Adkins (Jordyn), Jacei Adkins, and Madi Wright; and one sister, Charlene Watern (Don) of Kettering, OH.

Funeral service, 1 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Phillip Ferguson & Rev. Harold Davis officiating.  Burial to follow in the Family Cemetery, Redwine Road, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation 6 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers:  Dylan Adkins, Gary Davis, Larry Davis, Nelson Sturgill, Noah Sturgill, and Scott Sturgill.
