Mary Cheryl Catarinicchia, 78, of Hamilton, NJ, entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Serenity Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.  Born in Bordentown City, NJ, Mary or “Cheryl” as she preferred to be called, was a lifelong area resident.  

Cheryl retired from the State of New Jersey as a Budget Project Manager through the Department of the Treasury after 36 years.  

Cheryl loved trips to Atlantic City with her husband.  She enjoyed dancing, cooking, and watching cooking shows on tv.  

She is the daughter of the late Stephen and Edith (Eleuteri) Szollosi.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Joseph Catarinicchia; her two brothers-in-law, Dominic Catarinicchia, and Samuel Catarinicchia and wife Janice; as well as several nieces and nephews.  

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ.  

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bordentown.
