Billy Ray Floyd

JEFFERSONVILLE – Billy Ray Floyd, 78, of Ball Park Rd., passed away April 23, 2025 in Macon.

Services will be held Saturday April 26, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Prospect Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pastor Mike Sapp and Harold Reece, Jr. will officiate.

Mr. Floyd was born in Macon, GA, the son of the late William Thomas Floyd and Doris Ruth Fowler Floyd. He was preceded in death by his son Stacey “Big O” Floyd. Billy Ray was a retired diesel mechanic with Georgia Kaolin. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam War. He was a member of Prospect Church. Billy Ray loved his family, and enjoyed doing genealogy research on his large extended family.

Survivors include his wife, Sue F. Floyd. His daughter Sheramey F. (Matt) Rogers. Grandchildren, William (Courtney) Rogers and Kayte (Jody Floyd) Rogers. Great Grandson, Colton Mathew Floyd. Many nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday in the funeral home.
