James Price Gardner, 71, Nevada, MO passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada.    James was born on April 6, 1954 to Richard, Sr. and Patricia (Cobb) Gardner in Chillicothe, MO.   

    James was raised in Nevada and Rich Hill.  He worked at Fram for 12 years and also for Crane Plumbing  and  TLT Wiring Company in Nevada for several years.

     James enjoyed fishing and playing the drums.

     Survivors include one son, Price Gardner, Iowa, and one daughter, Lindsey Gardner, Iowa; several grandchildren; his siblings, Richard  Gardner, Jr., Nevada, Larry Gardner (Lisa), Sheldon, MO, Sandra West (Bill), Horton, MO, Cindy Terrell (Dave), Midwest  City, OK, and Jack Gardner (Marla  Scheman), Horton, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Patricia Thomas and Teresa Burchell; and a nephew, Jason Gardner.

     Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Apil 28, 2025 at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating.  Interment will follow at Balltown Cemetery, Horton, MO.  The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
