Joyce M. Powell, age 93, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, April 23, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y. on March 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Nora Haggerty Johnson.
A homemaker, Joyce loved time spent with her family.
Beloved mother of Linda Cusack (John) of Sewell, N.J., Sandi Brugere (Tom) of Renfrew, Sharon Blitzer (Robert) of Alexandria, VA, John Powell (Phyllis) of Blawnox and William Powell (Leslie) of Valencia, grandmother of seventeen, great grandmother of thirty and sister of Dorothy Bittrolff (Ralph) in Georgia.
She was preceded in death by two great granddaughters.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA.
