Michael H. Schweickart, 77, of New Richmond, passed away at 1:03 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Georgetown, on May 26, 1947, to the late Harold and Mary (Rhoten) Schweickart.

He is survived by two children: Aaron (Davonna) Schweickart, and Andrew Schweickart; four grandchildren: Tucker, Peyton, Gracie, and Kenzie Schweickart; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Schweickart, on May 1, 2020; and three brothers: Danny, Rick, and Sean Schweickart.

Michael loved horses, cars, and the finer things in life. He enjoyed the calm of a quiet ride through the countryside just as much as the thrill of a powerful engine on the open road. Whether it was a well-made suit or a polished classic car, Michael had an eye for quality and a deep appreciation for beauty and craftsmanship.

A private graveside service for Michael will be held at a later date.
