Ryan P. Teter Obituary

Ryan P. Teter, 47, of Sugarloaf, passed away Wednesday morning, April 23, 2025, at his residence in Sugarloaf, following a sudden illness.

Born in Hazleton, April 4, 1978, he was the son of the late Lewis A. Teter and Jane (Guhosky) James, North Augusta, SC; and spent the past six years in Sugarloaf, after moving from Nuremberg.

Ryan graduated from Hazleton High School, class of 1996.  He was employed as a supervisor for Amazon, Hazleton.  He was a member of the Lutheran Faith.  Ryan was a huge Yankees fan, loved listening to Pink Floyd albums and always donned a Tie-dyed shirt.  In his younger years he enjoyed hunting with family and friends.  His absolute joy was spending time with his daughter, going on cruises and trips to Disney.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his loving wife, the former Christine Peterson; to whom he was married on August 25, 2007, in Zion Grove; a daughter, Savanna Pearl Teter; two brothers, Lewis Teter, Jr. and his wife Holly, Zion Grove and Jeffrey Teter Nuremberg; step-father, David James, North Augusta, SC; step-mother, Connie Toro and her husband Vladimir, Spout Spring, VA; and several nieces and a nephew.

His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of his family.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
