Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Sharlene G. Sonnier, 67, who passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:49 P.M. at her home in Duson.

Deacon Denis Lacroix will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Theresa Catholic Church Cemetery in Duson.

The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 9:30 A.M. until time of service all in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 1 o’clock in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristie and wife, Renee Sonnier of Duson; one twin sister, Marlene Stonicher of Duson; two brothers, Allen and wife, Marlyn Gautreaux of Carencro, Ronald and wife, Lynette Gautreaux of Carencro; her Godchildren, Angela Touchet of Duson, Skylyn Valsin of Duson, D’Andre Touchet, Jaylah Fontenette, and Jaron LeBlanc; several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Sonnier was preceded in death by her parents, Earlin and Hermina B. Gautreaux.

Pallbearers for the services will be Jaron Leblanc, Ronald Gautreaux, Matthew Gautreaux, Blake Sonnier, David Sonnier, and Rod LeBlanc. Honorary Pallbearers for the services will be Allen Gautreaux, and D'Andre Touchet.
