Vivion Jeanette Mullins, 82, a beloved mother and sister, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. Born on December 31, 1942, in Sassafras, KY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Willie and Cornie Owens Cook. Vivion, known for her warm spirit and vivacious personality, dedicated her career as a Rural Route Carrier with the United States Postal Service, where she served her community with pride and compassion.
Vivion is survived by her devoted son, William Carl Mullins, and her two loving daughters, Tami Mullins, and Mary Lynn Robinson.
She is also remembered fondly by her siblings: Carolyn Sue Mullins, Wiliam "Sammy" Cook (Virgie), Wilma Jean Reynolds (Thomas "Bones"); sister-in-law Peggy Cook; and her fur baby Diamond. In addition, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins will celebrate her life. Each of them carries precious memories of her laughter, kindness, and unwavering support.
An avid collector of antiques, Vivion had a passion for flower gardening and was known to find joy in the simple pleasures of life - from auction treasures to rummage sales. Her love for travel and her favorite Diet Coke brought her immense joy, and she touched the lives of those around her with her enthusiasm for adventure.
A celebration of Vivion's remarkable life will take place in the future, honoring her spirit and the legacy she leaves behind. Friends and family are invited to join in a heartfelt ceremony and pay tribute to the vibrant woman who brought joy and love to so many.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband of 50 years, James Donald Mullins, brother Lynn C. Cook, and fur babies, Princess Sophia and Little Bit.
