Lois Ann Esselink, age 81, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday April 23, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Jeanette and William De Heer and her brother Lee De Heer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leonard Esselink; daughter Terri Johnson, son Alex (Shannon) Esselink; granddaughters Amanda (Jadon) Johnson, Jessica (Andrew) Johnson, Haley Esselink and Brooke Esselink.

Lois lived with heart, humor, and a fierce love for her family. Whether leading Girl Scouts, coaching softball, or cheering from the sidelines, she always showed up for her kids & grandkids.

She made life special through traditions—holidays, birthdays, family trips—especially camping, where laughter, games, and s’mores ruled. She had a gift for turning everyday moments into lasting memories.

An animal lover to her core, she adored every dog and cat that came her way. Joyful, silly, and full of fun, she made the world brighter just by being in it.
