Joyce Wells Wilson passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2025, in Spartanburg, SC.
Joyce lived in Mill Spring, NC on Lake Adger with her husband Stephen Wilson. Joyce loved the peacefulness of their lake home where they moved to in September of 2023.
Joyce was a Delta Flight Attendant for 42 years before she retired to live with Steve on Stone Canon Farm in Castle Rock, CO. Joyce married Steve, her high school sweetheart, in June of 2020. Before reconnecting with Steve, Joyce lived in Atlanta, GA- traveling the world, enjoying her family and Delta's friends.
Joyce was a passionate and gifted host. When you visited her home, your drink was always full, food aplenty and you were welcomed with love and friendship. She was a vivacious reader who loved to decorate, walk sandy beaches and live life to the fullest.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Steve: her children Kali and David Gray: Stepchildren Hannah (Matt) Restock and Andrew Wilson: and her three granddaughters.
A private family celebration will be held in the future on an outgoing tide.
