A Private Memorial Service will be held later for Rev. Dalton J. Schexnayder, I, 88, who passed way on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1:29 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Survivors include his wife, Myra J. Schexnayder of Crowley; one son, Dalton J. Schexnayder, II of Crowley; two daughters, Paula and husband, Brian Jones of Montgomery, TX, Tresha and husband, David Michot of Crowley; one brother, Melton and wife, Linda Schexnayder of Crowley; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Schexnayder was preceded in death by one son, Clinton Schexnayder; one grandson, Cameron Jones; his parents, Avner and Estelle S. Schexnayder; one infant brother, Edman Schexnayder.
