With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Juan Jose Mendez Chantaca, who departed this life on April 4, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 61. Born on January 29, 1964, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Juan was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished brother whose memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Adela, and his daughters, Sofia and Kayla, who brought joy and purpose to his life. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren — Bianca, Leyla, Viviana, and Clarissa — who were the pride of his heart.

Juan is also lovingly remembered by his brothers Raul, Severiano, and Guadalupe, and by his sisters Lorena, Olga, Raquel, and Rosalva. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and his presence will be missed dearly by all.

Juan will be laid to rest in his hometown of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, where he will return to the land of his roots and find eternal peace. His final resting place will be Panteon del Norte in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
