Linda Gail Cox, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in Odessa. She was born on April 30, 1947 in Kermit to Carter B. and Fannie Marie (Austin) Stewart. Linda married Paul Edward Cox on May 12, 1995 in Odessa, TX and they shared 30 wonderful years together.

Linda enjoyed crafting, bike riding, and playing bingo with her “Bingo Chicks”. She belonged to an arts and craft club called CHAT (Creative Home Arts club). She loved to travel and was an avid rock collector. Linda was also a very hard worker and loved being around her family. She will be dearly missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Carter and Fannie Stewart.

She is survived by her husband: Paul Cox of Odessa, TX; son: Brian Haggard and wife Gina of Snyder, TX; step-son: Chris Cox and wife Jennifer of Odessa, TX; daughter: Briana Haggard and wife Michelle Daniels of Odessa, TX; brother: Lonnie Stewart and wife Claudia of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Justin Haggard and wife Amber, Patrick Haggard and wife Melissa, TJ Daniels and Brittany Daniels; and great-grandchildren: Trace, Denali, and Caiden.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, officiated by Chris Hagger.
