Mary Louise Tevis, 91, widow of Neal Tevis, died Wednesday April 23, 2025. Born November 12, 1933, in Madison County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Edith Alexander Stewart. Louise was a retired LPN. Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Jean Steele (Clarence) and Peggy Comley (Durbin); one son, Steve Tevis (Johnny Orona); nine grandchildren, Terry Royster (Richard), David Steele (Danna), Shelly Snapp (Rob), Jeff Holt, Jason Greene, and Jesse, Debra, Jo, and Rachel Tevis-Orona; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Brown, and a brother, William Thomas “Tommy” Stewart. In addition to her husband and parents, Louise was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynda McMillen, and three siblings. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Kerr Brothers-Main St. by Rev. Lee Cox. Visitation will be 1-2pm. Burial will be private.
