Jesse J. Threlkeld Jr. 53, husband of Kerryn Threlkeld, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Jesse and Kathy Lee Edwards Threlkeld, Sr.

A graduate from Carolina High School, he then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. He was a talented athlete and played sports through his youth, enjoying baseball and golf.

Jesse and Kerryn met while he was working as a trainer at a local gym. He worked in health and wellness as a consultant and Fitness Director with  Doctor for Life  in Greenville. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who was exceedingly proud of his two children and their many accomplishments.

In addition to his parents, and wife of 25 years, he is survived by his daughter, Kristina Threlkeld; son, Jesse Threlkeld, III; sister, Julie Threlkeld;  father and mother-in-law, Allyn and Carol Steinhardt; and two sisters-in-law, Alyson Kelley (Jason) and Katheryn Pesce (Anthony).

The Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast, followed by a time of visitation.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
