Carlos William Gonzalez, 51, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Grinnell, Iowa. Born on January 10, 1973, in Brigham, Utah, Will was the son of Carlos Armando and Ellen Marie (Sambrano) Gonzalez.

Will spent his formative years in Texas, where he graduated from high school. He later pursued studies in Electronic Engineering at DeVry University. While he did not complete a degree program, his natural aptitude for mechanics and technology led him to become a skilled welder by trade. Known as a jack of all trades, Will was always ready to lend a hand helping friends and family with projects big or small.

A gifted athlete in his youth, Will excelled on the football field and soccer pitch. His competitive spirit carried into adulthood through his love of poker and gambling. He was also a car enthusiast and had an appetite for good food. Whether sharing a meal or offering help with a repair job, he made lasting impressions through simple acts of generosity.

Will is remembered by his children: Krystian William Gonzalez (Amy) and Xandrianna Gonzalez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
